The safest thing would be to wean it over a week or two. Even if they have similar ingredients, they may be in different concentrations.
I for one would just in case of diarrea… LOL and just in case your dog would prefer his old brand over his new…

If a dog gets the same food all the time, switching should be done carefully. Mix just a little of the new food at first to see if he eats it. Then decrease the amount of old food as you increase the new food slowly. Remember your dog doesn’t get the variety you do and change can be significant to the digestive system.
Same ingredients but different formulation. You should definitely wean him off the old food.
take a day and mix the two.. should be fine… try TIMBERWOLF it is real good
do it slow !!!!!!! is nutro ultra better then blue buffalo?????????????????????? I use ultra but always wondered witch was better
